Hi guys,

Sorry I can't make it for holiday band practices as I was at overseas. But I heard that all of you had gotten scolded by melissa again...I know that it's not only our section but the whole band. I wish that all of you can help the leaders and teachers to contribute by keeping quiet everytimes even if there is no conductor or leader in front.And what's worst is there are conductor in front and you are still chatting or talking... This is very disrespectful. What if you are in front telling something and people are chatting and doesn't care about you? You will feel sad and angry right? It goes the same for the people in front. Why does Miss Tan have to be angry everytime? It is because some of the people do not listen what she is talking about and then asking what do they need to do. I did not listen to her sometimes too and I'm really sorry. And I know not all of you are talking. It's good to help to call others to quiet and listen carefully.

Seniors also play a very, very important part too...Without you seniors,we won't be able to keep the standard up and the whole section will collapse.Okay,now I'm going tell you my plan for our section's standard of music. I'm going to tell Mingming to focus on the Secondary Two seniors and make them play much, much better. And I'm going to focus either on the Secondary Three or One. And of course, I need the Secondary Four seniors to help me out too...So please try to co-operate with us..Thanks...

It has been awhile seen I have post anything...
I just want to point out....that your playing are still not improving....Sec2,you all are senior the band already!!!Please lead your section even there are only two of you and the seniors.You cannoy expect us seniors to cover you all the time right?What if we step down next year?Clarinet section will sure collapse....You must not be shy!!Even if your seniors are around,you can prove that you are able to play as well as them or even better!!

Seriously,I do not want to see this kind of stituation.If me or the other seniors come back after we graduated, I can imagine how much worse this band will get.Or worse,like what mr pek said,band will be gone in the school...

I hope all of you can see what I wrote and think about it...

HELLO BAND!!

How do you think of the performance and CCA Fair today?Well...All of us did a good job but clarinet has many more to improve....not that I want to discourage you all but I just want to let all of you know that even if you are the top player in Kent Ridge SB, you are not the best in Singapore or even the World....

By the way,our next performance is coming soon so I would like to see all of you to practice much,much more than now...All of your tonguing and other things are not so good...If can,I will ask the leaders to let you all to bring home your instruments and practice.

Please do not leave it with the dust okay?All of you did not realise how terrible you are playing...but of course I am not that good too and I will do my best but all of you have to do your best too....

How's yesterday Band camp? I can see many of you had fun.

Well, fun's over...We have to be serious now.31 december is our audition already.We have no time to lose...It is just 2 songs for us to master.Many of you are getting more and more disrespectful to the leaders.I don't want to scold you but all of you are not putting effort in playing music.You are all just playing notes...

I wish to see more improvements and not getting it worse in both music and character....

I am so sorry for not posting on this blog. As i also know that this going to be a dead blog. But i hope next year this blog would be a wonderful blog. :) And i must thanks Zi liang for help me to post on this blog. Next there will be a new bach of sec 1 coming in and we must get as many members as we can to join our section. So we must work hard in playing our insturments and make them feel that band is a wonderful CCA to join. Is it ok?

I have heard from Zi liang that you all are making comments and talking back to him when he ask you to do something . When it is time to play you play but when it is time to be serious be serious. I hope we could help each other and not tease at each other's mistakes. Please have feelings when you are playing any piece of music.

I hope you all will enjoy coming for band. JIAYOU KRSB :)

Hi guys,

Sorry for not updating...But same as Linda,I think I'm the only one who updated this blog....Anyway,how's this holiday practices?Some of you felt bored while some felt fun...

Even if we does not have any concert,we still have many things to do like basic skills...bahbah...
I look that all of them think that it is boring to re-teach again but in order to make our band a better band and get a better award in SYF or any concert.

Anyway,our band is improving and sec1s too...but that's not enough...Clarinet Section,you all are not improving much too...especially the sec2s...When I take you in sectional,all of you are just playing a fool...And all of you just don't try...When I asked you all to play Fight of the Piasa,some of you just say it's too hard and don't want to play it...If all of you have this kind of attitude,we will fail...

All of you still remember when we had our band exchange with the three other schools?If they can do it,why can't we?All of us are human...I wish to see more and more improvement from all of you.
