hello!!

how are all of you doing? are you guys practising hard for the upcoming event, SYF? i hope so.

anyway, who are those faithful ones still visiting this blog and waiting for updates from your SL.

SYF is on 7th April 2009 at 10am, in VCH. i believe all of you have to wake up really early maybe around 5am and start preparing and reach school at around 6am? so, the SL better give everyone a morning call to wake ur members up.

to me, SYF is like me having my SPA test. SPA stand for science practical exam, and SYF is like an examination for a band.

So, how do i prepare for my SPA exam? the most important thing is to get enough SLEEP!! if you do not have enough sleep you will not feel energized. but before you get some sleep, think through about what may be tested for the exam and remember the key points. As for your SYF, look through the score before you sleep and do some 'sing &fing' and off you go to your lalaland.

while waiting outside my examination room, the science lab, i will FREAK OUT and resulting in me not remembering what i studied. so what should you do? take a few deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep breaths (around 3?)

next, i would start to visualise. why do ou need to do this? firstly, you will have a rough idea of what exam conditions will be like and be comfortable in it. while visualising, move ur fingers, make sure they don't get cramps or whatsoever.

if u are not sure how ur exam condition will be like, no worries, there will be a TV showing you LIVE, on what the band before you does. but, while listening to them play don't lose hope because the band before you plays really well.

because you will never know how well you have played cause you are feeling scared.

remember, mr wong always says that our band is very unique from all his other bands.
